It's not my first time losing weight, but I feel committed to making it the last time. I mean to reach goal and stay there!

So I'm not planning on even trying to keep up with the challenges right now, I need to re-focus on the eating and exercise and stay off the computer more. It just becomes a distraction and time waster for me at the moment.
That may change again, as the weather changes in fall/winter, but right now, I have work to do!
I will do my couple of challenge thread weigh-ins and maybe comment here and there on the forums, but probably won't be logged in more than several times a week. 'Tis summer and more to do than compute time!
So gotta suck it up, get back on track. My feet are bothering me, yes, but that doesn't mean I can just lay about. If I can't use my feet, then I need to do mat or ball work.
Things are going to get tough, the weather is finally changing for the better, which means I add in YARD WORK! And lots of it after last years neglect. I pruned about a third of the roses finally yesterday. Hope to work on some more this afternoon. Allergies are killing me... even with my pill.
Have a good week everyone!
My feet are still feeling very inflamed and my back is very sore, so I'm not sure what exercise will be like this week. I'm just going to do the best I can, and if I can't exercise, will cut calories a little.
So, getting back on track today, except for exercise. I'd have gone, but I came home with a huge blister on one toe, and I think that needs to resolve itself before I try to workout. Besides, after being on my feet a lot, they need rest as the plantar fasciitis is most definitely flared up again.
Road trip next weekend though, so can't say if NEXT Monday's weigh-in will be good. I'll just do my best not to let the eating get too out of hand.
Meanwhile, surprise, surprise... I check my body fat percent daily with an Omron Body Fat Monitor. Today was the first day I have ever seen a sub-39.0% reading. Not that it's necessarily right as these devices vary according to your hydration level, but I saw 38.6% and that was exciting. It just means I'm making progress, slowly but surely.
I figure it may help, because I can't do a lot of intense workouts outside the pool anyway, so a mild workout in the morning might be just the ticket to move things along. I hope. Two days in and so far, so good. Though I think I need to ice my feet tonight.
Hang in there Lilly!
It's probably a wonder I didn't get acid reflux! But all was well. I slept like a dead person.
My weight is up today, but I think it's all water retention and I'm not worried.
Better still... now that that goal is done, I switched to the Presidential Champions program and found that I have accumulated enough points for the Bronze Award. But I'm going for GOLD!
The scale figures have not been pretty! It may take another week to undo the damage.
Doesn't erase the pepperoni pizza, the breadsticks, the serving of ice cream, two candy bars and a small bag of Cheetos though. So it's back to work and back to being on track for me.
Oh, and it's cold and windy again!
Was back on track yesterday, and also got in a good Nordic Track ski session.
Today... dealing with picking up the taxes, running them to hubby to get 'em signed, and back to the accountant. I don't know if I'll make my water exercise class or not, but will try to get some form of exercise in.
It's not all bad, I've not eaten up to maintenance level once this week. And I enjoyed the ice cream. It's not a huge temptation and there are only two more servings left anyway, as it was just a pint. We did enjoy it!
Now the trick is to get going today and get a good workout in.
I enjoyed a Papa Murphy's Mediterranean Chicken DeLite thin crust pizza last night. Workout day and it was a nice break from cooking. However, I think we ate it too late, I did get a little acid reflux, which I haven't had in a while. Sigh.
The good part is my weight didn't shoot up today like I might've expected! I'm hanging at 222.0 even.
Totally hear you on keeping the online time and logging time under some kind of control.
I used to keep some very deatailed logs but as I got more familiar with what the numbers meant, and the general trend, I didn't need to do it so often. Sounds like you have plenty going on there already.
Ta ta for now,
Phil
I log all this stuff in software (Crosstrainer 6)... weight daily on Skinnyr.com for my blog weigh-in page graph, meals/water/workouts on Joe's Goals, workouts on President's Challenge (trying for my Active Lifestyle Award) and it's just getting too cumbersome to do it here too!
So don't get concerned if you don't see so much activity on my graphs from here on out. I'm keepin' on keeping on, just need to cut down on all the online time!
Getting going in water aerobics yesterday was hard, because of the soreness, but I did OK. Swimming after... difficult. Had no legs left at all. Did a quarter mile. Then walked slowly for a quarter mile.
Haven't decided whether I will rest today or actually do a little workout. I'm leaning towards trying a new DVD.
All good over the weekend so far, except for tax aggravation. Nearly have all together for the accountant though.
Killer workout Saturday... it's been a DOMS day today. But I can, at least, walk, so not complaining!
I'm not expecting any kind of big loss tomorrow, but all week, I've mostly been under last weeks weight, so I'm fine with that. I think I'm going to try and start incorporating a little more core work on Tuesdays if I can manage it.
Slow progress, but progress is most certainly there and I'm encouraged!
